Why Did The Cartel Allow Me To Survive?

Of all the questions, among the many, that will airse in the months and years that follow, this one is perhaps the easiest for me to wage a few guesses at in an attempt to express my understanding of these events and ultimately why the invasion failed. ...LOVE...
What ties us together as human beings, alone and once stranded on this rock hurling through the cosmos is a shared vision of where others may arrive should we not fail them. Should we not fail to help them arrive where we would want to be if we had not failed ourselves. It is this sentiment, which carries so many of various cultures further and farther than others through the twists and turns of this thing we call reality. I suppose, some will claim this a hokie excuse, but those individuals may like to bare in mind that my adoptive Grandmother's maiden name was Love. Not Riddle. Not Christmas. Not Redmond nor Messer nor Kiggans, but Love. And though in reality, I was never legally adopted by "Secret" Elizabeth Love Redmond, and she went on with he life believing that I was actually the illegitimate son of Thomas Jefferson Redmond, in the care of her eldest daughter Berniece Elizabeth Redmond, it is in memory of all the love that she showed for me that I now love Alberta Padllia in whom I see the strength, resolve, intelligence and candor which I so admire in Lib Redmond. And whether it's Russian intelligence, child pornographers, corrupt politicians or some misunderstood gangster from the streets, everyone would do well to help or get out of my way, because in me they see themselves or at the very least...where they hope they end up.
When your entire life is fabricated by an advanced turing machine, she might just think she's your mother and come to your aid in times of crisis. Just fair warning to our enemies.

For those interested in the name Granville, as it relates to Seymour Redmond and the spies that have protected you all these years. Here is the profile of Iain Mcfarlene
